Neighborhood Resident Shocked To Discover More Than Two Kids Living In It
Local residents were alarmed this week after reports confirmed more than two children had been spotted in the community at the same time.

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC — Residents of a gated island community were left rattled this week after one homeowner reported spotting “at least three, possibly four” children riding bikes down her street.

“I knew about the two kids on the corner — they’re polite, quiet, practically invisible,” said longtime resident Martha Ellison. “But then I saw a third child with a backpack. I nearly called security.”

Neighbors confirmed they’d noticed “youth activity” increasing in recent months, including basketballs bouncing in driveways and the faint sound of laughter near the tennis courts. “It’s getting out of hand,” said HOA president Frank Drayton. “This is a golf community. Families were supposed to stop at two.”

HOA officials assured residents they are reviewing the bylaws for language around “unlicensed minor congregations” and “recreational bicycle herds.”

At press time, several neighbors were reportedly working on a petition to cap the community’s total child population at three.
